 First their odd Herstory.
 I found a set like these on ebay.
 I missed the sale so I emailed the seller to see if he had anymore. he said no..
 BUT, he said he made them and could do aanother set for me.
 He takes old drums and cleans them up and recovers them.
 I ordered these after loving the set I saw on Josie & The Pussycats. 
 But I of course could not afford a new set of Pork Pie drums.
 I told him what sizes I preferd and he built the set.
 (a little different than you see it now as I keep making improvements I could not afford then)
 
 To my suprise, they were sent it to me it in boxes he got from another shipment 
 that had shipped the drums from the Josie & P.C. Movie!

       I found some shells on sale on Ebay from a guy going out of business.
 I emailed him and got to pick the shells I wanted. 
 I always wanted to build a set from scratch and pick all the best pieces from various manufactures.
 Later as I got money I bought the Lugs and various hardware pieces, drilled the holes etc..
 Then I ordered the wood dyes and coloured and varnished the drums.
      They are a Hodge Podge of what I like best...
    • 6 Ply Keller Maple Shells (great tone)
    • Lugs are Unknown Brand Single Screw Solid (low mass, easy to mount)
    • Rims are 2.3mm Thick (Heavy duty but not choking)
    • Cast Bass Drum Claws - Modern Type Bass Drum T Rods (nice thick hi mass and cool looking)
    • Gibralter Bass Spurs (just plain nice)
    • Pearl optimount Tom Mounts (no shell contact, no rim contact and stable)
    • Gibralter Tama Type Tom Mounts (strong, black and works with Sonor hardware)
