So here I am in CA. I am doing well and I am thinking and missing playing music. I had not played since early 1991.
Much to my girlfriends shagrin I setup the keyboard I had saved and started buying stuff on Ebay
Ok, well, I went nuts buying stuff on Ebay :)
Then.. The thing I had been waiting for. I got a big contract were I made enough money for
exactly what I needed.
An electronic drumset so I could play in the house and not disturb my picky Milpitas Neihbors.
Of course this pissed off my GF even more as I wound up taking her parking space in the garage to setup.
Hey she would not give up the dining room or living room.
It was really hard trying to play again on an electronic set. The drums were ok but the electronic cymbals then realy sucked.
I had saved my cymbals from the early 90's and before (thank goddess) so I tried using them... very lightly.
and yup saved my sticks and stickbag too :)
